MuleNation International

MuleNation International includes more than 11,000 graduates and former students who came to UCM from more than 55 countries around the world, as well as alumni who are living outside of the United States of America. Every year, we welcome a new class of global students who are pursuing their education, either through a semester exchange or by completing an undergraduate or graduate degree program. After completing their time as a student, they become a part of MuleNation, which is what we call our community of more than 100,000 UCM alumni worldwide.

The UCM Alumni Foundation is proud to offer specific services to help international alumni stay connected to UCM.

Top 5 Ways to Be Part of MuleNation International

  1. Update your Contact Information: Be sure to update your international contact information to receive UCM alumni emails and connect with other constituents in your country. Each country has its own laws and regulations for mail, so digital communication is the best way to stay connected.
  2. Refer a Student: Consider volunteering as a MuleNation International leader (details below), request your personalized recruiting cards (will be delivered as a PDF file). Explore programs and admissions resources at UCM International Admissions.
  3. Submit a Class Note: We want to know how your degree has helped you!  Submit a class note to share your news items, personal milestones and professional achievements. You may even be featured in UCM Magazine, our biannual alumni magazine!
  4. Give Back: Consider giving to one of the 11 international student-specific funds to support students who are following in your footsteps. Make your gift online.
  5. Keep in Touch: Connect with us on social media! No matter which platform you prefer, we encourage you to follow us.

MuleNation International Leadership

With more than 100,000 UCM alumni living around the world, we need the help of our most enthusiastic volunteers to represent and connect Mules and Jennies globally. Together, we can create an international network where alumni form communities of support. Members can choose to participate in the following ways.

  • Network: Build a network of UCM alumni hailing from or living in your country. Officially serve as a resource for the MuleNation network in your area.
  • Represent: Proudly represent your home (current country of residence) to fellow MuleNation members interested in learning more or students, alumni, faculty and staff interested in visiting your area. Make recommendations regarding sightseeing, dining or experiences.
  • Recruit: Assist the university by encouraging the recruitment of local students for UCM’s undergraduate and graduate programs. Help represent UCM at local college fairs for students who are interested in studying in the United States.
